My First Post; My Cousin's Wedding.

So I'm going to introduce myself before I get down to business.
My name is Lizzie and this is my blog. I don't have a flash camera and for the foreseeable future my photos will be taken with my Samsung Galaxy S2 (Professional I know).
I'm a 19 year old Film and Media student at De Montfort University who lives in the Midlands.
I have two jobs at the moment, my main job is working in Claire's Accessories and my other more casual job is working in a cocktail bar. Most of my accessories will be from Claire's due to the wonderful discount!

Now that the formalities are over it's time to make my first official blog post!
Yesterday (Saturday 25th August), my cousin got married to his long term girlfriend and mother of his two children, it was beautiful.

This Jones and Jones dress is truly incredible! The colour is so vivid and eye-catching so it's perfect to make a statement and stand out in. The skirt has a petticoat underneath it for added volume and I just feel like a doll wearing it. My favourite part of this dress though has got to be the Peter Pan collar, it's so dainty and delicate and really smartens the dress up. I'd recommend everyone have a look at the Jones and Jones website as they do have some truly stunning dresses. I'm already eyeing up my next purchase for my other cousin's engagement party!
My shoes became a major talking point. Virtually everyone made a comment about how unique they were and then there was the typical; "How on earth do you walk in those!?" comment. Surprisingly they're quite comfortable and easy to walk in, at no point did I feel off balance or wobbly in them. The service I received from the eBay seller was wonderful from start to finish.
The bag, accessories and false nails are all from my place of work Claire's Accessories, I especially love the false nails, they are so quaint and quirky and I really feel like they reflect my personality.

Here are some more pictures of my outfit from the big day, it was truly wonderful! I just wish I hadn't have drank so much champagne (oops!)

So that's my first blog post done and dusted, comments are more than welcome. What do you think of this outfit? Are those shoes your cup of tea?
